A TYPICAL DAY
Parents sign in their children in reception, then help the children store their belongings. Parents are more than welcome to stay for a while to help children settle down. A short communication with our lovely educators may allow us to help children more. Children of all ages play together and enjoy their special time.
Breakfast is served for children who arrive before 8:15 am.
Toileting, Nappy Change; Leisure Time
Educators start to check the little children’s nappies, also remind older children to go to the toilet.
A fresh seasonal fruits platter is always present on the tables. Our children will be engaged to help themselves to make choices.
Group Time is the best path to support children’s sense of belonging. They will be provided the opportunity to share their own ideas and also learn how to listen to others. A confident speaker or a patient listener both are very popular in our communities. Educators also have great opportunity to intentionally teach children about the prepared topics, such as environments, foods, animals and etc. A story reading or a favourite song may also great ideas to start our wonderful day.
Educators start to help children pack up their personal belongings and bring them to their classrooms.
Learning Through Play
A pre-designed program will be provided. It could be a large group activities or may be run with small groups by taking turns, it could be outdoor or indoor, it could be about the reading or music. Educators value every child individual development and interests, and looking for opportunities for intentionally teaching. A specific activity for individual child needs to be operated by observation reports.

Sleep / Quiet Time
After lunch, children will be engaged in sleep or quiet activities.
A home baked desserts or fresh fruits is always provide to refresh our children.
Learning Through Play

Free Play/ Outdoor Play
Pack up for Dinner
Educators will help our children to pack up all their personal belongings and take them back to Starter Room.
Dinner will be prepared by our chef and served to our children. A picnic can be held in the backyard during good weather.
Throughout the afternoon, children will be offered opportunities for leisure play. They can spend some time in the reading corner, in vegetable gardens or even have drama plays.
Parents come and collect their children. They can read through children’s communication books to understand their children’s routines. They also can find their children’s exciting day through the photos, learning stories and beautiful works that are kept in every child’s files.
